The following is Merriam-Webster's definition of magnetism:

Just so we are clear, I am going to focus on definition #2.
I keep attracting these men that are condescending and arrogant. And I don't mean sexually. For the past 20 years of my life I have only been attracting attention from men that approach me in an arrogant and condescending manner. I'm not the one initiating conversation.
I'm wondering if there is a sign on my forehead or is this because of magnetism. I respond to people like this by way of Shut Down Mode. I will not engage with these men unless forced to. But rest assured, I've got your number.

I think I would rather be bombarded be the Kuiper Belt than the amount of stupidity that comes my way on a daily basis. I have found myself very depressed that at this level of stupidity, humanity is most certainly doomed. Trying to have intelligent conversation with anyone is more impossible than squeezing blood from a stone.
When I try to talk to people I have found that they hear maybe one or two key words that I've said. Then those are the words they focus on to reply without fully understanding the context in which those words were spoken. Then I worry that I'm not able to make myself clear and get frustrated and depressed that I'm not connecting to people verbally.
I have been like this since age 5; at least that is as far back as I can remember being like this. I just learned to shut down. Then I get negatively labeled because I don't talk to people. Who would want to talk to people that are either too lazy to listen to what you are saying or too stupid to grasp what you are saying. Either way there is no hope for me to connect to people and the human race is doomed unless someone starts breeding a better crop.
I am glad that I never had . First, because I met no one in my life that would have been good enough as a father to my . Second, I believe it would be considered abuse to subject to the stupidity that permeates everything in this world.
I was so naive as a to think that my life would have a few good people around that I would be able to connect with on any level.

Male Rights Movement Or Whiney Bitches?

The other day I watched a documentary on Hulu titled The Red Pill. This documentary was made by a woman who considers herself a Feminist. She tried to make some sense of why these men are so angry and hurt.
So here is the gist of what she filmed. There is a movement called The Male Rights Movement. These men believe that they are the ones at a disadvantage, NOT women. These men believe that women are not oppressed and that their issues are exacerbated. Here is why they believe they are at a disadvantage.
-only 38% of college students are male.
-women are not a part of the draft so men are disposable.
-1 in 4 men are the victim of domestic violence by an intimate partner. There is only one shelter in the country for male victims of domestic violence.
-men have no reproductive rights.
-men will receive harsher prison sentences for the exact same crimes committed by women. Women typically serve up to 60% less time in prison.
-suicides by men are higher, workplace death and injuries are higher for men than women because men do the dangerous jobs.
-paternity laws are not favorable to men.
The list is longer, but I can't remember every detail right now. I will say this....one man interviewed said that these men often sounded like the White Male Conservatives and their complaints. I do believe that almost all the men interviewed were white. I could be wrong.
I am not a feminist. I am a woman trying to bumble my way through life just like the majority of the population. I have worked in the prison system and I know first hand that men are incarcerated more often than women and for longer periods of time than women. Women commit the same criminal acts and then get lighter punishments than men. This I do not agree with. Justice should be impartial.
After studying family law, I know that paternity laws are not perfect and if men want to have a say, they need to start with the legislators in their home state. They get lobbied by feminist groups that will do anything to punish men. Stand up for yourself the right way. It takes two to make a baby. You shouldn't be sticking your dick in everyone if you are not prepared for the consequences.
Suicides are higher by men because they use more lethal means. Women make more attempts, but don't follow through or use means that are not as lethal. Workplace injuries and deaths are higher by men because they are the only ones getting hired to do those dangerous jobs. Very few employers will hire women to do dangerous jobs because men think women are too weak.
The military has created a culture that it is a boys club and women are not allowed. Women have had to fight tooth and nail to be considered an equal, but it still hasn't happened. Military men sexually assault military women on an unprecedented rate and it is always covered up or the women just don't bother reporting it because it will ruin their military career. Women are not a part of the draft because the sentiment in this country is that one man can impregnate 100 women, but one woman cannot carry the of 100 men. Women cannot be bashed because of their biology.
So I ask these men that want rights.....what did you do to become a part of the solution and not a part of the problem? If men don't oppress women, then who does? We still socialize our male contrary to the behavior and mindset we want from them. The gender roles are confusing to men. The medical field still does medical research with the white, middle aged, male in mind. We know for a fact that the medications being pushed for various health concerns only benefit men and do not work well with a women's body.
So I ask you, was it wrong for women to fight for the right to vote? Was it wrong for women to fight for the right to own property, own businesses and enter into contracts without getting permission from her husband or inheriting from her family? Was it wrong for women to fight for general equality and to stop being treated like property? Is it wrong for women to continue to fight for equal pay? Women still only make 74 cents for every dollar a man makes.
The women's movement was not about emasculating men. It was about allowing women choices and men fought that every step of the way. They have done so because it changes the rules, changes roles, changes definitions, changes dynamics, etc. Men don't seem to handle this very well. If the women before me had not stood up for themselves, I wouldn't be writing this blog. I would have taken "girl" classes in school and then married off when I was 18. I would have been expected to have , cook, clean, and live my life out at the mercy of my husband. I'm so grateful for those women that fought for my rights and I'm grateful that I had parents that taught me to rely on my brain.
I do believe that there are legal issues that have created a sense that men are at a disadvantage. Men need to direct their attention to the mindset that is learned from birth. They need to look at how to change the legislation and not just to benefit them, but what is equal for all. That is what feminists wanted from the beginning. The fanatics have taken over the asylum and it will probably take some drastic measures to get it back.
I have never in my lifetime felt oppressed by men. However, I have felt the wave of the "boys club" mentality. And when you are outnumbered, you move on to greener pastures and let the boys be their own downfall.

Zombies should be the least of your worries on how the human race will end. Oh yeah, that's right, we WILL end. Here's how. Sheer stupidity with a side of laziness.
Last night I had to go fill up my car's gas tank and stop at the grocery store for a few things. I just needed a disposable lasagna pan and realized that from others stupidity it could have been the end of me.
Keep in mind that it was 9:30 pm. It was plenty dark out and yet I spotted at least 5 cars driving around with their headlights OFF. What the hell is wrong with people? Is stupidity contagious? Is it in the air we breathe? Is it inbred? I have never seen so many people driving without their headlights on. I just saw one car after the other without any lights on.
If the human race is really going to end, this is how. Sheer stupidity and laziness. People are more worried about that fucking phone than their own or other's safety. Driving without headlights on is just a small part of the problem. That stupid cell phone has become more important than anything else in life that humans in general have foregone simple common courtesy, common sense and have a lack of empathy for anyone or anything.
That phone is not an appendage and does not require the same care as any of your body parts. Put the mother fucking phone down and pay attention to the world around you. You might actually enjoy yourself. Seriously, what would you do without your cell phone? I''m hoping you all die. Your stupidity is going to get everyone killed and not by brain eating zombies.

Are We All Watching The Same Show?????

I belong to a fan group on Facebook for the show Better Call Saul. If you don''t know, it is a prequel to Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul follows Jimmy McGill, a.k.a. Saul Goodman, before the Breaking Bad timeline.
The show is not really going to make much sense to those that did not watch Breaking Bad. The development of the characters will just confuse people. If one had watched Breaking Bad, then the characters and their development make much more sense because you already know the ending. What you don't know is the beginning. In Breaking Bad, the writer/creator, Vince Gilligan only gave us glimpses of the characters focused on in Better Call Saul.
So I read the posts and comments. Some people have a really thorough understanding of the characters. Then you have the people that have never seen Breaking Bad and have no clue of what is taking place and 5 seasons of Breaking Bad has to be explained over and over again plus the first 2 seasons of Better Call Saul. Then there are those that are posting shit that is just their wishful thinking and none of their thoughts are in line with the characters' development.
So I ask, are we all watching the same show? It actually is sad that these people do not get it at all. Imagine watching the last installment of the Star Wars Saga and never had watched any previous movies. How would you know what is going on or who these people are and their significance to the story.? I actually bought my nephews the entire Star Wars Saga so that when the new movies came out they would understand what is going on and who the characters are.
Can I just start choking people? Should I go back to working in a prison so I can be hurtfully sarcastic? I'm starting to miss that part of me.
Oh well, at least I know I'm paying attention.

Greyhounds Are Like Cats?

A is still a and a hound is still a hound.
Spent a few days with my mother because she decided to adopt a retired Greyhound. Funny thing is....he never raced. His name is Dozer and he is 2 years old. A few of his siblings raced, but were not very good. Dozer has a brother, Digger, at the same rescue. Digger is going to be very difficult. He is terrified of everything and high anxiety. Dozer is somewhat unsure of himself but low energy and calm. Dozer is more stubborn than afraid.
In just a few short days, he has made progress with trusting my mother and myself. He even relaxed enough to jump around, shake his head and snort like he would if he was playing. He definitely likes someone to pet him. The first few days he would not come near anyone to now he will let you pet him and rub his ears. He looks like he is falling asleep when you rub his neck. It is good he finds human touch to be soothing.
He definitely knows his name and the word no. He doesn't always want to come to you when you call him. This is where the most work is needed in building trust. I find him to be quite stubborn as well. If he doesn't want to do something he lays on the floor and makes himself stiff. I'm thinking that this is part of the reason he was sent out for adoption. He didn't take to the chase of the lure and then became stubborn when they tried to force him to do anything. If the doesn't make money, they get sent out for adoption or euthanized.
When he doesn't think anyone is watching, he begins exploring his environment . Mostly looking for more food. He doesn't bark, but will whine in the morning when he is ready to go out and eat breakfast. He sleeps A LOT! I think he sleeps more than my mother does. She takes two different medications for RA and they both make her tired so she takes 2 or 3 naps a day. After a stressful morning the other day, Dozer slept 4 hours straight then woke up long enough to go outside and do his business. Then he came back in and took a nap before dinner.
I read something online the other day that Greyhounds have similar traits to a cat. They are independent thinkers and do not aim to please people. I disagree. A is still a and a hound is still a hound. Spend enough time with any and give them the proper training and socialization and you will have a big people pleasing baby on your hands.
Next mission is to try and find the right owner to have play dates with Dozer. Since he is a little shy, he needs a playmate that won't try to bully him. Greyhounds don't do well with small dogs. Although not impossible, it is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to the proper playmate. Despite Dozer's size, he is still a puppy and needs someone to play with that understands his temperament.

Mental Exhaustion And It Is Only Wednesday

I have had three interviews this week. All three in different parts of the state. I have logged over 400 miles of driving. Tomorrow I have a fourth interview and Monday I am supposed to start a new job, but it is crap and low paying.
My mind is trying to rejuvenate itself. I'm having a hard time thinking straight and making decisions. Not my normal self. Usually my mind is sharp and super focused. Usually I have an insane amount of information in my head at any given time that I can easily call up. Today is not a good day. My head hurts and everything that I normally keep right at the surface seems very blurred and unrecognizable.
I am not very accepting of this whole "getting older" thing. Most of the time I want to give aging the middle finger and just say Fuck You.
Well enough with this shit, I'm just going to get caught up with some TV shows.

I Can Jump Through The Hoops, But......

I have a bad knee and foot on the same side of my body.
What hoops am I talking about? The ones that employers make you go through during the interview process. I have had to fill out the same paperwork three times for the same employer and I have not actually started work yet. Why is it necessary to fill out the SAME paperwork several times. It is not like the internet, email, fax and snail mail do not exist. This employer made me fill out an abundance of paperwork before the interview. Then when I was offered the position, I was told that Corporate would send me an email that had an abundance of paperwork to fill out before I could actually start. Then the physical site sent an email with paperwork that is exactly the same and said I had to fill it out and bring it with me on my first day.
What the hell? It is all the same paperwork and I could have filled it out once and they can just share it with each other. They have access to email, fax and snail mail. What's the fucking problem? All these hoops to jump through, so should I ask for assistance since I have a bad knee and foot? They probably would not be to happy with my sarcastic humor.
This isn't an isolated incident. Every employer I have applied to for an open position seems to have an endless stream of paperwork for "prospective" employees to fill out. Too many snowflakes have sued in the past, so now we have State and Federal guidelines and laws that cause all this paperwork to protect the employer.
I think I'm going to start claiming I have a disability. I need assistance when completing this monotonous paperwork. I shit you not...I'm sitting here typing this and there is a stack of papers sitting next to me that I just finished completing for three interviews I have next week. To top all this off, I keep copies of everything on thumb drives. I have a folder of things I take to an interview that i think the employer might want. I take extra copies of my resume, copies of training certificates, copies of TB test results, and finally copies of my degree.
What other hoops do I need to jump through for these fucktards? I might be an asshole, but a slacker I am not!

Showtime has launched a new show called Dark Net. The docu-series delves into every aspect of the internet, digital technology, and its negative/positive impact on the lives of every human.
One of the episodes from the first season dealt with those addicted to internet porn. One of the young men interviewed stated, " We are the loneliest generation". I believe they are lonely because they think technology will give them the intimacy that they really need. Most people really don't comprehend what intimacy is. It is not sex. Sex is a small part of intimacy but it is not intimacy in it's entirety. When people start to understand the true meaning of intimacy, then and only then will they no longer be lonely. Millennials have never known life without digital technology, so they are at a disadvantage. Their parents are too wrapped up in their own lives to teach them what intimacy really is.
One of the more disturbing topics covered, Cults. I never understood how a person could be so vulnerable to blindly believe. I'm an introvert and I have an analytical personality, so for me, I need to examine everything that comes at me. Even at any low point in my life, I never looked to others to explain or preach any thing to me. I have always believed that I am in more control of my life and the ups and downs than any force, real or imagined. I'm basically not a good candidate for conversion to a cult, but there they are....all over the internet.
Do you know what FOO is? Family Of Origin and one woman talked about how she turned away from her family because she was listening to some jackass on the internet. It takes all kinds....so gone are the days of the likes of Jim Jones and David Koresh and some good old fashion molesting. Just get yourself a podcast on the internet and get people to denounce their families. What fun is that? No martyrs dying in a hail of gunfire on CNN.
I'm hoping you all get the humor in that? I don't see how anyone could join a cult when the majority of the population has got their nose planted to their phone screen.
Another issue is Pornography. I've always known that countries like the Philippines and Taiwan had those places where they housed little and rich men would go there to have sex with them. But now they are using the Dark Web to sell their online for video sex. Some woman activist in the Philippines was making a speech in some village yelling about how awful Americans are because its all our fault that this is happening. Yes, some of the men are from the US, but there are many other countries represented in this as well. And quite frankly, if they didn't need the money so bad, they wouldn't be selling their own on the internet. Hell in one village their was a married couple using their store as a front for this shit and they weren't just selling their own , but other in the village. One girl stated that she did things for the web cam because her mother needed medicine.
This is what is going on in the rest of the world while people in this country piss and moan about trivial shit.

Okay, I'm just having an angry moment. Every time I walk into the grocery store to buy the "healthy" food, I see all this candy and brightly colored baked goods. But what really gets me are the peanut butter eggs. I have a weakness for peanut butter eggs.
I think it might be better if someone just killed the Easter Bunny and then "POOF", gone are the eggs and candy and brightly colored baked goods.
Now don't get me wrong, I like the idea of the Pagan ideals of spring being the time of birthing and life. But can we back off on the fucking sugar for a little while?
We start with Thanksgiving and gorging ourselves right into Christmas and the sweets. Then it's Fat Tuesday with the doughnuts made of lard to Valentine's Day Chocolate to St Patrick's Day Alcohol (also sugar) to Mardi Gras and all it's excesses, i.e. King Cake and more alcohol to the fucking Easter Bunny and more sugar like those disgusting marshmallow peeps.
Seriously, they have peep flavored Oreos. I hate those fucking peeps in any form they might come. I just want the parade of sugar infected holidays to end! Sugar makes me nauseated and causes some other problems I won't mention. No one NEEDS sugar.
According to science, 85% of the population is addicted to sugar, and they don't even know it. Sugar affects the brain in the same place and the same way as cocaine. We are a nation of addicts!
The food industry puts sugar in almost EVERYTHING we eat. If it is processed, there is a 99% chance it has added sugar. Not only that, sugar is named more than a hundred different ways. They are trying to trick us into not knowing that the added sugar is there.
I think we should file a class action suit against the FDA for knowingly allowing this to happen. Then file a class action suit against every single food manufacturer that adds sugar to their processed food.
You can read the studies about how added sugar is killing us in many different ways. I wish I could go completely without the added sugar, but it is in EVERYTHING. What the fuck would I eat? Dirt? They probably put sugar in that too.

Job Requirements

Have you ever wanted to rewrite an ad for a job? Possibly use some real world language that speaks to the masses?
I was reading a post on Facebook by a man working in Corrections. He was explaining in detail how he did everything he could to save his marriage, changed jobs, dealt with long commutes, etc. He detailed how his job in corrections destroyed his marriage, personal relationships and finances. All very true of the majority of people working in corrections.
I've never heard an office worker complain about commuting 150 miles round trip to their job to be mandated to work another 8 hours in an environment that could get you killed on their best day. Nor have I heard that office worker complain that, while the job causes lack of sleep, it also fosters depression and complete disconnect from the outside world.
I would like to rewrite the job description for Correction Officers. It might sound a little like this:
-Must be willing to work a minimum of 8 hrs a day to maximum 16 hrs a day with little to no advance notice.You will live here almost as much as the inmates do.
-Think you are gonna go out on Thirsty Thursday with your friends? Think again, you no longer have any friends. Your relationships will be almost non-existent outside of these walls.
-Want to know what a Paranoid Schizophrenic goes through in life? It's your lucky day! Administration will play head games with you to the point of persistent paranoia. Oh, and the medical benefits suck, so good luck getting treatment for that medication or any injuries you sustain while working here!
-Your co-workers will NOT have your back because they are too busy bringing in contraband to the inmates. Inmates, administration and coworkers can and will plot against you.
-You will be disciplined for combing your hair in a way that pisses me off and your coworker that comes in late everyday will get a promotion. How about that for a big FUCK YOU!
-Administration reserves the right to change policy, procedures and rules for their own enjoyment and not tell you. That way they can make fun of you when you make a mistake.
-In the immortal words of Dolph Lundgren, "I must break you" That is our motto to employees that we feel are smarter and more capable than the current administration.
I know, those of you who work in your nice offices don't understand. Most people who leave corrections by choice or otherwise are often suffering from PTSD. I really feel for this guy and the things he talked openly about. For 10 years I walled off everyone that I knew and everyone that I worked with to try and shield myself from the shit they kept flinging. I watched as coworkers' marriages fell apart, suicides within their families that they felt responsible for because they weren't there for them. I know this person's pain.
When I am out in public now I view everyone differently. I believe that what ever they are doing or where ever they are going is far more important than any one else. Otherwise, why would people act so badly in public. I don't attempt to try and understand their behavior or fix it. I just get out of their way. I've already met them inside the walls. I did my time as a correction officer and I no longer wish to continue that mentality outside of the walls.

I'm asking all of the intelligent, common sense, emotionally intelligent, productive citizens.......What is the problem with the Pepsi Ad that features Kendall Jenner handing a soda to a Police Officer?
Apparently, Twitter is all abuzz with such vicious hate towards this girl and the ad she appeared in for Pepsi. All those people that run their mouths about how saying BLM=All Lives Matter appear to be spouting hate and hypocritical Speech.
One tweet brought up that black women are always in servitude to white women. Are you fucking kidding me? So a black woman was in the ad watching Jenner walk by and now it's slavery? That's a far fucking reach if I ever heard of one. Another tweet said that Jenner should be pouring the soda all over a Dead Cop's body. So where in that does it define that all lives matter?
This BLM is a Terrorist Group right here in our own back yard. It was created here and then glamorized by artists and the media. During the 1960s many musical artists, black and white, wrote about the race issues, but never spouted such hate speech. They were asking for compassion and understanding. Sounds reasonable to me.
I'm sure Pepsi will cave to all the hate speech and the fact that the media has jumped all over this bandwagon. They'll probably remove the ad like they did when Madonna appeared in one of their ads. These corporate cowards should just stick to unkowns to appear in their ads. Or maybe just have animals in there ads like Coke did with the Polar Bears. No one can resist a cute face.
Either way, this has already gone too fucking far!

Anyone Have REAL Experience In This, Tell Me About It

Today I took my mother to a Meet and Greet with a local Greyhound Rescue Organization. I have spent the last 35 years raising Rottweilers, so I know little about this breed. My mother had remarked many times in the past that she would like to adopt a Greyhound. Due to the recent loss of my Rottweiler, my mother is really missing the companion of a dog. After all, there has always been a in the house for the last 47 years.
When i was born, my mother had a Fox Terrier. Then came a mix breed who was hit by a car. Then came the two Dobermans and were impeccably trained. Then about 35 years ago I added a Rottweiler to the mix. From that point on there have only been Rottweiler's in the family. But, my mother is elderly and needs a quiet calm dog.
I did some reading and found that their temperament and living requirements match my mother's situation very well. She has a large fenced yard and plenty of family members that can come and walk the any day the weather is nice. She does have two cats and the Rescue Organization said that they can find her a that is small pet friendly.
The dogs we met were so well behaved even in a busy pet store. They are also just the right size and apparently like to sleep a lot. Perfect for my mother, her medication makes her sleep a lot.
I'm really hoping that this works out for my mother because the house is not the same without a here.
