There seems to be a version of Tinder for everything , start one for people who aren't into outmoded forms of transportation - aside from meeting someone you'll make bank in the process . I personally wouldn't like being picked up because it somewhat puts you at the other person's mercy Putting clients first by putting employees first, immediately after prioritizing fiscal responsibilities and leveraging profitability towards exceeding by empowering our employees to put clients (and themselves) first, in a diverse and respectful environment of only those that come first, first.

That's a good question, probably with a ton of answers. In today's day and age I guess a lot of people just assume that everyone has a license and a car. Maybe they are worried if the meeting doesn't go well they will still have to give the person a ride home afterwards. Maybe they are just shallow and think if you don't have those things you are just trying to get something from them. It's really hard to say why some people do the things they do. We could probably get into some huge conversation about why are people less social and polite now. than before there was social media but that would probably devolve pretty quick on a web site. As for the ghosting just because of that, if they really wanted to meet you they would have figured out a way to make it work, so you are probably better off the way it worked out.

I have made it clear I no longer drive. That if we meet to talk it has to be within walking distance or can take a taxi to within reason. No man has said no to meeting or not shown up. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

Hold up, he passed on picking you up from your place? He didn't think you could not order an Uber to meet him?

Wow! How narrow minded. Please don't take it personal. You are being responsible. Driving isn't for everyone. What happened to chivalry when a man would pick up his date whether it was for dinner and movie or for a fuck? My car died 2 months ago and I decided not to get another because I don't see the need for a car now. Having a car or not does not tell you what kind of person you are. That is shallow. Good luck. Car??????? Nahhh, just call lyft or Uber!

If you live where there is mass transit, then use it, if you dont, well then it get harder. Uber, Lyft & Cabs isnt cheap, in may cases if you use much, you might as well have a car. But if you think it is hard for a gal to get a date when not having a car, imagine if you were a guy, it is freaking IMPOSSIBLE, unless maybe you are in a LARGE city where owned cars are rare.

There are lots of cities where it is so inconvenient and expensive to own and operate a car, it is much easier and reliable to use public transport instead. No worry about where to park, easy access to anywhere you want to go - why pay for headache when you don't need it. This guy is a loser, in more ways than one. Honestly, I would gladly give up my car if I could. If we had a good mass transit system like in Europe, I would get rid of my car easily! A car is convenience and an annoyance all at the same time. Also in my area of CA, traffic sucks and trying to find a parking spot sucks. I'm starting to feel annoyed already just thinking about it, and my day has only just started.

I have not had my license since moving to the city 30 years ago. I have it on my profile that I do not drive, so any meetings will have to be on a bus route. If it bugs them, so be it, don't contact me. I am too scared to get my license again, and don't have a vehicle to drive if I did. The bus is cheaper, and in a crash they are almost always guaranteed to win. They are always warm in winter, and mostly cool in summer. And the walk to and from the bus stops does me good. I will not apologize for my transportation choices. Why that would bug any man is beyond me, but you are much better off without that person.
